Michel Mccaulley: Birds are comfortable at the same temperatures we are so as long as you don't put your bird directly in front of a vent it should be fine.
Rana Rudell: It depends on what kind of bird you get, but most birds can get sick if there is a cold draft on them.

Greys can take some cold more than others..the larger ones.the little ones also do ok in a normal air condition room..70 degrees I would not go lower and do not put in direct..air flow...or fans and such If it is a baby and not used to the air condition keep a light on them for warmth and the should be fine..good luck...Show more
Raymundo Kyser: Birds like a warm temperature. They all originate from HOT countries. They don't need air conditioning like we do.
Buster Exline: They will be fine as long as they aren't near a vent. If you are cold then you bird will be cold. If the temperatur! e goes suddenly from ho to cold this is hard on a bird and will make it sick.
