answers 0:I wound up with a sinus infection and a little later vertigo. The dentist is ready to perform it again, but I'm not sure I want to go through it again just to have two teeth inserted for chewing on one side. It's not cosmetic as it's not front teeth and I can chew on the other side. I do have a partial but was tired of wearing it for over 20 years.answers 1:only your oral surgeon and or your ent md can answer this questionanswers 2:Well, i can understand not wanting to have to go through that twice, but what happens is with the two missing teeth, your other teeth will begin to shift because theres nothing next to them, pushing your front teeth out, which will change your bite. (if they haven't started shifting already), they will also drop. now the partial is okay but it will need adjusting from ti! me to time because the bone in the jaw shrinks, overtime when teeth are not present) and that will happen for sure since you are not wearing it all the time like you should.Don't get me wrong, Lol, i see your point, and sinus grafts are a pretty penny, esp. here in california where its not covered by dental insurance, but its not just teeth for the sake of chewing, there are other disadvantages to having missing teeth, but its your money. Mabe going to see another specialist, would be best, someone who specialises in implants, sinus grafts etc. even if you have it done, you don't have to go back to the place you had it done the first time....answers 3:Ralissa, the Dr is not charging me again, so money isn't the reason. You make good points about the other teeth placement.
