Luke Creitz: You mention knitting spcifically, is this something that you feel you would like to do? if so go to a local knitting club. It's not all grannies, In my local club there are only 2 people over 30! The list of possible hobbies is endless, don't be scared to try things, and quit if you find that they don't suit. Here is the list of hobbies I have done over the yearsPlay pianoplay guitarplay drumsplay fluteplay piccolokickboxingnetballswimmingballettapreadingMixed martial artsvolunteer workdressmakingcardmakingquiltingcrochetAnd finally...the one that I now can't live without...Knitting. Cherry Stampka: Knit, crochet, beading, scrapbooking, painting, sewing there's so many things out there!
Cherry Stampka: scrapbook all your pics. it can get addicting!
Russell Mckinzie: What do you like most about your boyfriend's hobby?! Being outdoors? Socializing with other enthusiasts? Spending hours at the kitchen table tinkering? Make a list of what you want from a hobby. (Stress relief? Learning new things? Creativity? Meeting new people? Travel?)Then make a list of what you're good at. (Are you athletic? A "people person"? Artistic?) Then make a list of all your interests. It may take you a few days to realize all the different things you're into. Once you see it all on paper, you'll have a much easier time whittling down all the thousands of hobbies in the world and finding something you'll really enjoy....Show more
Marty Tichnell: Well, you could get into RC cars with him...OR!try tile-mosiacs, that what my ex-girlfriend liked to do...too bad she was a WHORE!!!, but even I kinda got into the mosiacs...
Scot Rotruck: I would suggest scrapbooking as well, it's time consuming and can be very addicting as well as cheap if you know your sources.Buy yourself a camera and start carrying it ev! erywhere with you. Don't be afraid to click the shutter no mat! ter where you are. You learn to capture things you never want to forget, beautiful times in your life, nature and sooo much more. You could also take pictures of your boyfriend playing with his RC cars. (This is a good hobby to go with scrapbooking.)You could take up cooking as well, buy yourself a cookbook and just pick out recipes to try, my granny always told me if you know how to read, you know how to cook. It's very rewarding and after cooking for so long, you don't need that recipe book....Show more
