Darwin Ecton: definite, you have a case. If the guy you have been speaking to on the dealership grew to become into the mechanic that worked on your vehicle, flow over his head if mandatory, to the shop foreman, or the owner of the dealership. in case you nevertheless get no delight, you may touch Volkswagen in the present day relating to your criticism. If all else fails, there is often small claims court docket.

Barton Sease: Sorting through your dilemma,it is obvious that although the wrong pressure plate was installed, the result is that the clutch is now easier to operate because of the reduced spring rate.Unless the car is going to be raced in competition, there is no need for the higher spring rate design. It doesn't seem likely that installing! one type over the other could have damaged anything. The oil leak,if indeed it is from the main seal, cannot be blamed on a clutch replacement. It is a separate issue..The wiring may have been disturbed in the process,a common issue. It may be a simple loose connection.Your situation is debatable either way. Before going on the offense,it may be wise to weigh the consequences of your actions....Show more

Maria Devenney: Like to note for books, that oil leak was never there until I left the shop. I was under the car before flywheel was put back on. I'm leaking by the quart when I drive it. I have to put oil drain pain under car to keep it leaking all over floor (which already as) From what I understand, even so I did request that S kit should have been used before the install. I told installer to use Sachs clutch kit and make sure it was S kit, but even so installer kept telling to use Luk Clutch Kit and would be better than Sachs. So at the end of the day the installer put parts in car I didn't approve of which not using kit KF782-01, what you guys think? The installer did use Luk catalog to mach up Sachs replacement. Funny part I did call Luk only sell one kit and I ask which parts this was for and they told me "This is a repackage of the Sachs kit KF298-02 kit. Which there mistake there. So the inst! aller ask for car back so they could look at it, would it be wise to send it back and can they hold...Show more
