Scot Sepulbeda: Interesting question. I don't know the actual procedure that was done so it is somewhat difficult to know if there were any other stabilizing done other than hardware. Any fusion is going to give you some discomfort as it has restricted movement at that level and forced the areas above to carry the work of those areas fused. That is assuming that you were fused into the sacrum. With time and proper exercises you should be able to do most things without problems.
