Transportation in Guam?

Maynard Phoubandith: Oh god, who have you been talking to about this part "I've heard though its dangerous to do that because there are dogs and stuff that will attempt to attack you or something"?Is this a comment from a fellow stupid marine/ ignorant American?Honestly, one of the reasons the locals are irritated by the military people inside the gate is because they are stupid, ignorant, not likable, and ethnocentric. Why else would the most hospitable country, Japan, want to kick out the military on their land? The united states military have extended their stay with not much gratitude in return. YOU ARE BUYING A CAR FOR $2500, WHAT DO YOU EXPECT? You can stay in the base, for all anyone cares. But transportation is somewhat important if you want to get anywhere. There are no good bike paths on Guam, so that's not advisable. The navy is pretty much far from anything plus the heat and humidity. Where would you need to go anyways?By the way, if you only have $2500 in a b! ank account, it's probably going to be hard to stay debt free and you really can't afford a car if that's all the money you have....Show more
